Principal Message
Dear Families,
Last week the school celebrated Mothers Day with a gift stall on the Thursday and a special morning celebration on Friday. Friday morning consisted of a morning Yoga class, followed by Christian Meditation and a beautiful breakfast. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate our Mum's, Grandparents, Aunties and significant women in our lives. A big thank you to the local businesses that donated items and supported the morning. Special thank you to all helpers who generously volunteered their time to coordinate and organise this fabulous event.
Tonight we are having our school disco - which should be a wonderful evening. Once again, thank you to those parents who have coordinated the event.
Today was "walk safely to school" day. Each child who walked to school received a fresh piece of fruit, donated by Woolworths at Cabarita. It is important for parents to remind your children about safety when walking and riding to school.
Our school leaders attended a 'GRIP' conference at Tweed Heads today. Twelve of our Year 6 leaders had the opportunity to learn about leadership and develop skills that can be used both in their roles and later life.
With winter coming upon us, please ensure all items of clothing are cleraly labelled with your child's name and class.
Have a great weekend.
Regards,
Brian Laybutt

Walk Safely To School
The sizzling sun peeks through the foliage, casting patterns on the path ahead. Shafts of light dance through the trees, creating a picturesque play of shadows and illuminating the path before us. The warmth of the sun kisses our skin, bringing a gentle caress of energy and vitality.
The school day is almost upon us, we are walking with friends and family on a beautiful Friday morning. Smiling faces greet us as we walk along the path towards our destination.
Who knew how much fun we could have walking to school?
Everyone who joined us this morning for Walk Safely to school day that’s who!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us this morning.
It was a terrific experience!
