Principal Message
Dear Families,
Thank you for yet another wonderful Term. Our students have had the opportunity to experience learning in so many ways, be it class lessons, differentiated learning, class expos, excursions, camps, EGames, incursions, guest speakers, visiting other classes, sharing work with peers, parent / teacher / student conferences etc.
This term the students have had a wide variety of sporting opportunities and were crowned National STEM champions!! What all this reflects is the diversity of learning and opportunity that exists at St Ambrose.
A big thank you to our Parent Forum who fully support our school and provide wonderful opportunities for family engagement -e.g. Movie Night, School Disco, Fathers Day breakfast / stall, we are now eagerly awaiting the upcoming "Splash & Dash". Their work is greatly appreciated - thank you!
This week our Year 4 students went to Camp GoodEnough for three days and two nights and our Year 6 students did their 4 day excursion to Sydney / Canberra. The students had a wonderful time and reports received indicated that they were a credit to themselves, their families and their school. Congratulations and Thank You! A BIG shout out to the staff that accompanied these students on camp. Whilst very rewarding it is also an exhausting few days and on your behalf I thank the teachers for their dedication and commitment.
Mrs Mulder will finish up at the end of this Term and she takes maternity leave, expecting their second child. We wish Celia, Todd and Easton all the best as they welcome another addition to their family. Celia will return in 2024.
This week our first ever Year 6 students from 2016 will be graduating from Year 12. We pass on our congratulations to these young men and women and wish them all the best in their upcoming exams and for the future!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Kristi-Lee Beacroft who will finish her tenure as Acting Assistant Principal at the end of this Term. Mrs Beacroft has worked tirelessly these last three terms and has earnt the respect of students, teachers and parents. Mrs Beacroft has demonstrated great integrity, professionalism and compassion - on behalf of our school community we say THANK YOU and congratulations on a job well done!!
I wish you all a wonderful break and trust that you will be able to spend some quality family time together.Thank you for your ongoing support .
Regards,
